What is AI Sensor®?
AI Sensor® is a computer vision technology platform that can be used to collect data anonymously about people, vehicles, or objects for various applications.
What happens if the AI Sensor® is disconnected from the WiFi?
If there is a disruption in Wifi connectivity, AI Sensor® will automatically reconnect once WiFi is back up. We recommend using a network that you manage or add 3G connectivity to your device.
What is the range of the AI Sensor® hardware?
Optimal range is ~25 feet for high confidence metrics. Network/IP cameras can provide enhanced range based on make and model. For more details on our AI Sensor® Technology, please click here.
What does "Plug and Measure" mean?
"Plug and Measure" means that the AI Sensor® installation and setup process for is quick and easy. Once the AI Sensor® is connected to WiFi it will begin collecting and sending data in real time. No extra set up required.
How is the AI Sensor® device powered?
AI Sensor® is powered by a standard power cord and outlet. Currently, we have no models with a rechargeable battery. A mobile battery system may be used to temporarily power the device if necessary.
Can AI Sensor® technology be used on other cameras?
Yes, we support IP/Network cameras with RTSP, HTTP and USB streaming protocols. Our SDK's can be installed on both Windows and Android systems.
What metrics and data do you provide for audience measurement?
AI Sensor® currently provides People Count, Views, Dwell Time, Attention Time, Gender, Age Range, Emotion, Gaze Rate, Peak Times and Detection distance.
What is the difference between an Impression and a View?
An Impression is a "face detected". A View is a face detected viewing the camera within +/- 5 degrees.
Can I export data from the dashboard?
Yes, you can export data into a CSV/Excel file at anytime from the dashboard using the filters provided.
What is the difference between Dwell time and Attention time?
On the dashboard, attention time is defined as the average attention span of a viewer. Dwell time is defined as the average interval of time when a viewer is in close proximity to an AI Sensor®.
Do you provide data in real time?
Currently, our data is collected, analyzed, and delivered in real time for all solutions with the integration of web hooks.
What metrics and data do you provide for vehicle measurement?
Vehicle counts and average speed. We are looking to add vehicle type in version 2.0.
How is the AI Sensor® connected to internet?
AI Sensor® can connect to any standard WiFi network using a password. AI Sensor® also has connectivity options from both Verizon and AT&T.
Is the casing on the AI Sensor® hardware waterproof?
No, the casing is water resistant. You can leave it out in light rain, but it cannot be submerged.
What is difference between "Face" and "Crowd" analytics?
Face or Crowd analytics provide anonymous, highly detailed information such as demographics, are optimal for streel level, outdoor, or retail installations. Crowd analytics is optimal for anonymously measuring activity of large audiences at malls, stadiums, or even Times Square.
